Congratulations to Dr Richard Turner who received an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Podiatry at the recent awards at the House of Lords. Dr Turner is a Consultant Dermatologist based in Oxford. The award recognises his contributions to podiatry education over a number of years. Most notably, during the COVID pandemic, he gave up his time to run a number of webinars for podiatrists - covering dermatological education.

In addition, he is a contributor to the Melanoma guidelines paper (2010) which was published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research. This paper went on to be come the most accessed paper in the journal's history with over a quarter of a million downloads and translations into several languages. He has also spoken at many of the College's Annual Conferences and contributed chapters in podiatry textbooks.
